Amitabh Bachchan recounts how Dhirubhai Ambani offered him financial assistance when his bank balance was zero, and he was forced to repay crores because he refused the offer despite Ambani’s generosity. Amitabh Bachchan, who was recently seen in Suraj’s film Uncchai, has experienced many highs and lows in his life, and the veteran actor has spoken publicly about many of these phases. It is well known that Amitabh Bachchan started his business venture, Amitabh Bachchan Cooperation Limited, in 1990, but the business eventually went bankrupt, leaving him in a lot of trouble.
    At that time, Bachchan was offered mandatory help by the late Dhirubhai Ambani, but he refused the offer. In the old video from 2017 that was shared by brute India’s YouTube channel, Bachchan spoke about the time and how Ambani offered to rescue him from the mountains of debt. There was a time in my life when I went bankrupt, Bachchan said in Diwaliya Ho Gaya, adding that he was in crores of debt, all sources of income were closed, and the government raided his house. The famous actor recalls how Dhirubhai Ambani housed his younger siblings and how Anil offered him financial assistance. Dhirubhai, I got to know about this without telling anybody.He told his younger son and my dear friend Anil that he was going through a bad time and asked them to give him some money. The amount that he wanted to give me would have solved all my problems, but I feel that I wouldn’t be able to accept this generosity, he said. Amitabh Bachchan has previously spoken about this, and it was during this time that he became: he went to the late film director Yash Chopra and asked him for a role soon after; he was cast in the role of Narayan Shankar in the film Mohabbatein around the same time he began hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati, the show he has continued to host until now.
