France, a World Cup runner-up, climbed one spot to No. 2 after Argentina. France won back-to-back European Championship qualifiers against the Netherlands and Ireland, both ranked sixth.
    Belgium remained at No. 4, with England following after two wins, including a victory over No. 8 Italy. Europe finished with No. 7 Croatia, followed by Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

    Morocco, which has joined the Spanish and Portuguese in a bid for the 2030 World Cup, remained at No. 11 to lead African teams. The United States remained No. 13, two places ahead of regional rival Mexico.
    Canada, the other North American co-host of the World Cup in 2026, climbed six spots to No. 47. Japan ranked 20th among Asian teams, while Qatar, the 2022 World Cup host, ranked 61st.
