Singh stated after signing for two months with Kent this summer, I’m excited to play red-ball cricket in England and continue to hone my first-class skills. I’m excited to perform in front of Kent’s members and supporters; Rahul Dravid has already told me that the club has a rich history.
Arshdeep will spend the entire months of June and July honing his red-ball skills as the Indian team departs for the United Kingdom following the IPL.
Arshdeep made his One-Day International debut in New Zealand last November and has since appeared in 29 international matches for India, including a standout ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in 2022.
So far in his seven first-class matches, he has 25 wickets at an average of 23.84 and an economy of 2.92. After Kanwar Shumshere Singh, current India men’s head coach Rahul Dravid, and 2022 overseas bowler Navdeep Saini, he will be the fourth Indian player to wear the White Horse competitively.

Paul Downton, Kent’s Director of Cricket, stated, We’re thrilled to have a player of Arshdeep’s calibre join us for five games this summer. He has shown world-class skills with the white ball, and I am confident he will be able to use those skills with the red ball in the County Championship.
In due course, a further announcement regarding overseas players for Kent in the LV= Insurance County Championship this season will be made.
