After undergoing a preliminary examination at the track’s medical center, Kumar was extricated from the wreckage and placed in an ambulance within minutes. He passed away as a result of his injuries, despite the best efforts of the hospital’s medical staff.
Vicky Chandhok, the Meet’s Chairman, stated: It is a terrible occurrence. Kumar had competed in a lot of races. He has been both a friend and a rival to me for a number of decades. His passing is deeply regretted by the MMSC and the entire racing community, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family.
Chandhok went on to say that the MMSC, the event’s organizers, and the sport’s national governing body, FMSCI, have started an investigation into the incident.
