Jain emphasized that achieving this cost reduction is crucial for ensuring reliable and sustainable energy supply, especially as India aims to increase its renewable energy capacity. The anticipated decrease in costs will likely be driven by technological innovations, increased manufacturing capabilities, and supportive government policies.
These factors together are expected to make battery storage a viable and economically attractive solution for managing energy demand and supply, facilitating the transition to a more resilient and green energy infrastructure.
