According to Forbes Real-time Billionaires List, Indian billionaire Gautam Adani has surpassed Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault to become the second richest person in the world. However, he lost the title immediately due to the Dalal Street market meltdown.
Adani’s wealth rose to $155.7 billion during the course of the day, but as the majority of the group’s equities ended in the negative territory, he fell back to third place with a net worth of $152.6 billion.

The information indicates that Adani’s wealth increased by $2.4 billion or 1.59 percent on Friday.
The second-place finisher was Bernard Arnault, CEO of the luxury goods giant LVMH, with a family net worth of approximately $153.1 billion.
