James Cameron’s sci-fi drama Avatar has a record-breaking collection in South India, totaling Rs. 35098 crore in just three days, according to trade reports from the third.

While it easily defeated Avengers: Endgame in all southern circuits, the film trailed the 2019 blockbuster in its opening weekend in India.With this steering cross and a total lifetime collection of 126 crore in just 3 days, Avtar 2 will be able to repeatedly rank at 132 rupees per crore in India by the end of the first weekend.Avatar follows JAC Suli, a paraplegic Marine who becomes an unlikely champion for all of the Navy’s 10-foot-tall and blue-skinned serpent humanoids in their fight for survival.The sequel takes place more than a decade after the events of the original and tells the story of the Suli family.When unforeseen events displace them from their home, they travel across the washed-out reaches of Pandora, ultimately feeling drawn to territory held by the Matkania clan, who live in harmony with their surrounding oceans.
