Now think rationaly is it making any kind of sense to you?
I don’t think it is mention anywhere in scriptures that you can’t wear a cloth of saffron colour. Infact Bhagwa (saffron) colour cloth is just a cloth for sanyasi in Hinduism( it is compulsory to wear saffron colour in sanyas ashram). So what it means that those who are saying that it is an offence to wear a saffron bikini, he or she must not wear any saffron colour cloth as well, if they think saffron colour cloth is just for sanyasi. Even if they don’t wear it, does they will go to each person who they saw wearing saffron and ask them to not wear it again?
Image credit: News18.So in short, although it is a very important part of sanatan dharma rituals in sanyas ashram, it is not written anywhere that one cannot wear it. And how can a colour could be humiliated ? Does that not imply we can neither use green colour as well? This is just a rightist propoganda to boycott Bollywood industry as we could see this on twitter multiple time #boycott Bollywood was seen trending. But boycott is not just restricted to right wingers but boycotting is also habit of left supporter as well. When the movie Kashmir files was released left started to malign the movie saying that it is a propaganda, spreading hate and misinformation and what not. Now they maybe supporting Deepika Padukone this time but left wing will never support her infact would spread hatred against her as well if she was casted in Kashmir files or any other movie not suitable to their agenda. Boycott is ones personal choice no one has any say in it. You don’t like the movie don’t watch. But do we follow this? One doesn’t like that Deepika is wearing saffron bikini okay don’t watch it but this is completely not one’s choice to say that it is an offence, offence is felt to all the people of the community, people following Hinduism know very well what is offence against them and what is not. Offence is one like shown in PK movie where man dressed like lord shiva was seen running in a not a very good manner. With this boycott culture more energy of the creators would spend on appeasement of small number of people who would disturb the state of environment after releasing movie, this will surely kill the creativity. What do you think, is mass boycotting helpful? Or there must be some boundaries to let creators know what will be considered as their freedom of expression limit?
