Kohli, who is currently just 133 runs away from reaching the milestone, said that breaking Tendulkar’s record will be an emotional moment for him, as the legendary cricketer has been a huge inspiration and role model for him throughout his career.I have always looked up to Sachin Tendulkar as a cricketer and as a person. Kohli also expressed his gratitude towards his teammates and support staff for their constant support and encouragement throughout his journey, and said that he is focused on contributing to the team’s success rather than individual milestones.
I always prioritize the team’s success over personal achievements. The records and milestones will come automatically if you focus on playing for the team and contributing to their success, he added.
