    In less than 24 hours, alert BSF soldiers from 66 battalions stopped yet another heroin smuggling attempt by Pakistani traffickers, seizing 6.370 kg of heroin worth 38 crores, 190 gms of high-quality opium, and 50 7.63-round magazines in the Punjabi village of Muhar Jamsher. BSF opened fire on smugglers who fled during the night said BSF .  In the early hours of Tuesday, BSF agents in Punjab’s Jhangad Bhaini hamlet of Fazilka discovered smugglers operating out of Pakistan transporting heroin worth Rs 22.65 crores.
     Source :OpIndiaFollowing a particular tip, the 66 Battalion BSF troops carried out a thorough search of the Fazilka village and found 3.775 kg of heroin worth Rs 22.65 crores, according to officials.The BSF in Jammu had earlier on August 25 thwarted an attempt at smuggling via the International Border in the Samba area and collected roughly 8 kilogramme of drugs. On August 23, the BSF discovered a stash of assault rifles near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab.On the Ferozepur sector, three AK-47 rifles with six magazines, three M3 rifles with four magazines, and two pistols with two magazines were also discovered.  What do you think about this ?
