However, he appears to have fully recovered after taking some time off and receiving extensive rehabilitation at the NCA. Bumrah was left out of India’s squad for the Sri Lanka series in the last week of December, according to reports, because the BCCI was not interested in hastening the pacer’s return. However, the significant news on Tuesday afternoon suggests that the board and team management are pleased with the 28-year-old’s progress and want to get him back as soon as possible in a World Cup year.
The bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been included in India’s ODI team for the forthcoming Mastercard 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, according to a BCCI release. Bumrah has not played in a cricket match since September 2022, and a back ailment prevented him from competing in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
