Nigerian striker Gift Orban has transferred from Olympique Lyonnais to Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim for a reported €9 million, with potential add-ons bringing the total to €12 million.

The 22-year-old forward joined Lyon in January 2024 from Belgian side Gent for €12 million. During his tenure at Lyon, Orban made 16 appearances, scoring three goals. This season, he netted two goals in five matches, starting three times.
