There are sixteen teams competing in the Hockey World Cup. They are divided into four groups, each with four teams: Pool A, Pool B, Pool C, and Pool D. England, Spain, and Wales are also in Pool D, as are India. On January 29, the tournament’s final match will be played.
It is important to note that India will host the tournament for the second time in a row. In 2018, the World Cup, which was held in Bhubaneswar, was held there. The edition saw Australia win the bronze medal while Belgium defeated Netherlands in the final.
    What format is it in?
The top-ranked team will advance to the quarterfinals after playing three matches in its pool. In the meantime, the second and third teams from each of the four pools will compete in crossovers, where the remaining four teams will advance to the quarterfinals.
