Ronaldo then gave Anderson Talisca a penalty kick, which the former Besiktas player converted. Talisca’s goal moved her just one strike behind Abderrazak Hamdallah (15), who currently leads the goal scoring charts.
Ronaldo was named to Portugal’s first squad announced by new coach Roberto Martinez last week for Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.
Portugal will play Liechtenstein in Lisbon on March 23 before travelling to Luxembourg on March 26. Martinez stated that his first squad is important because it serves as the foundation for Euro 2024.
Ronaldo, whose international career began in an exhibition match against Kazakhstan in August 2003, holds the world record for men’s international goals with 118.

His track record suggests that if he returns to the starting lineup, he will add to his tally in the next two games, at least against Luxembourg.
