But Morocco were quick to respond, centre-back Achraf Dari was left unmarked and he immediately equalized the score. But Orisic’s curling shot over Moroccon goalie Bono, in latter part of first half was the deciding strike.
Morocco had a golden opportunity to even the scores when forward Youssef En-Nesyri had a close-range shot in the 75th minute, but Croatian goalie Dominik Livakovic rejected the shot with an apt save.
