Indian batters Pujara and Gill scored a tonne yesterday and made enough to register a massive total for the hosts.
India declared the innings at 256 in their second innings. In the first inning, they scored 404 runs.
Bangladesh’s first innings was overpowered by Kuldeep, who took five wickets and limited Bangladesh to just 150 runs.  KL Rahul, the Indian skipper, didn’t give them a follow-on, and two centuries were witnessed in India’s second innings. Bangladesh resumed the day at 49 for no loss.
The opening duo played well. N Shanto scored 67 runs with seven boundaries. Z Hasan scored his maiden century but was shortly departed as Ashwin’s ball confused him and went to Virat Kohli.
The match turned more in India’s favour as Axar Patel took 2 wickets in the 88th over, and Bangladesh’s score reached 238/6 at the end of the over.
Shakib Hasan is the last hope for Bangladesh and the slightest hope for a draw.
Shakib is unbeaten at 40 runs.
Sppinners took charge from the start of the game. God, along with the pitch, favours their work. Indian spinners have taken 10 wickets so far.
Bangladesh need 241 runs on Day 5 of the match. India need four wickets to defend their lead in the first test. What do you think, who will winn? Comment below.
