    The authorities have taken steps to prevent mismanagement at the airport.The authorities have followed the Aviation Ministry’s guidelines and suggestions to decongest the check-in, entry, and immigration points at Terminal 3 of the IGI airport.Display boards at each entry point and live updates about the details of exits and entry points have reduced the confusion and chaos to a large extent.They have increased the number of entry gates to 16 from the earlier number of 14, and the estimated waiting time is also mentioned on the display boards of each entry point.The officials have installed more X-ray machines at the security checkpoint. To divert the traffic at terminal 3, some of the flights are transferred to terminals 1 and 2 in the peak hours.Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Sindhiya visited the airport on Monday and held meetings with all the concerned authorities, including Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the CSF.
