The event unfolded along the 700 block of West California Boulevard in Pasadena. The Tesla had three passengers, including a little child. The driver lost control and hit the accelerator instead of the brake, according to the Fire Department of Pasadena. The car broke through a wall and landed in a pool in a nearby home. The residents of the house were unaware of the incident taking place outside.Two teachers from a nearby preschool came to the rescue and jumped into the pool. They carried out the child and both other passengers. They were safe and did not suffer any injuries.A spokesperson from the city of Pasadena said, Pretty quickly after the vehicle crashed, it started to submerge under water.The following picture was shared by the Pasadena Fire Department on Twitter, showing the Tesla submerged in the pool.
