Elon Musk may have unintentionally acquired a new moniker.During a difficult point of Elon Musku2019s hearing on Monday, a lawyer for a group of shareholders who are suing him unintentionally labelled him u201cMr. Tweet.u201dThe mistake was referred to as a u201cFreudian slipu201d by the lawyer Nicholas Porritt, but Musk quipped that it was u201cprobably an appropriate description.u201d
    As of late last year, Musk, the platformu2019s CEO and owner, has never shied away from using it.
    Video Courtesy: Analytics InsightIn actuality, Musk and Porritt spoke during a trial initiated by Tesla shareholders who have charged Musk with tweeting securities fraud. The shareholders specifically charge Musk of fraudulently manipulating the price of Teslau2019s stock when he tweeted in 2018 that he was thinking about taking Tesla private at $420 per share with u201cfunding secured.u201dIn court, Musk argued that he u201cwanted to make sure shareholders would know what my goal wasu201d when he sent the tweet. Musk added that he had u201cunqualifiedu201d confidence that the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund would support his plan to take the company private.
    Deal never happened, and during his testimony, Musk accused the fund of u201cbackpedalingu201d after the tweet was sent.
