India took a lead in thw test series as they defeated bangladesh at thier home by 188 runs on Sunday.India scored 404 and 258 (declared). Bangladesh scored 150 and 324 runs.
Bangladesh got all out on 324 in thde day 5 with 188 runs more remaining. India put a target of 513 runs for the host.
Bangladesh got all out in the first session of day 5 at Zahur Ahmed Stadium.
Kuldeep Yadav was awarded as the man of match for his all round performance with the ball as well as bat. He took 5 wickets in first inings of Bangladesh and also scored 40runs, registering a 92 runs partnership with Ashwin. in the seccond innings, he took 3.
Shakib Hasan, went on 5 th gear on the day 5, but his counter part Mehidy Hasan lost his wixket early.
Shakib continued his battong and scored a fifty. he continuied hitting boundaries and scored 84 runs from 108 balls.
His entertaining knock included 6 sixes and 6 fours.
But, shakib lost his wicket to the player of match Kuldeep Yadav.
Soon, the remaining players got out and Bangladesh innings ended with disappointment.
Axar Patel hunt down 4 players in the second innings with 2 wickets on thw 88 th over of day 4.
The second test match will be played from 22 Decemeber to 27 decemeber at Sher E Bsngla Stadium.
