The 701-km-long Maharashtra Samriddhi Mahabaleshwar will be the longest expressway in India. The expressway will connect 10 districts, 26 tulas, and 392 villages.
    The expressway has been named Hindu Hrudasamrat Babasaheb Thakre Maharashtra Samriddhi Mahamarg Ine in honour of Shivsena’s founder.The project cost is Rs 55,532 crore, Mopalwar said at the virtual India meet on Thursday, during which he was accompanied by joint managing directors Chandrakant Pulkundwar and Anil Gaikwad.The distance from Nagpur to Shirdi is approximately 520 kilometers.More than 20,000 people are involved in the megaproject, which is unique in many respects.
