India must’ve heaved a sigh of relief when Shaheen Afridi was ruled out of the playing X11. Afridi who systematically demolished the Indian batting order eight months back in the T20 World Cup won’t be playing against India in the upcoming banger of a match on August 28th, 2022. The decision came due to Shaheen’s recent knee injury that led to the ace bowler’s departure.
Shaheen would be replaced by pacer Mohammed Hasnain for the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup. Pacer Hasnain will be joining the Pakistani Cricket Team ahead of the tournament against their arch-rivals India. He has previously represented the Oval Invincibles in the new cricketing format of 100 Ball Tournament. The 22-year old is still nascent in his cricketing career, however, his performance seems promising. He has picked up 17 wickets for Pakistan in the T20s. Will Hasnain be a trouble-maker for India?Check out Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming series,PAKISTAN’S SQUAD for T20 in Asia Cup 2022
