While Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that New Delhi will support any peace effort aimed at putting an end to the conflict in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday sought India’s support for putting into practise a peace formula he had proposed to the G20 Summit in Indonesia last month. During their phone chat, Modi and Zelensky spoke about the war in Ukraine, and the Indian leader restated his appeal for an immediate cessation of hostilities and a return to diplomacy and dialogue.
