The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the Indian women’s cricket team will play a historic day-night Test match during their tour of Australia later this year. This will be the first time that the Indian women’s cricket team will play a Test match under lights.
    The Indian women’s cricket team is scheduled to play a one-off Test match, three One Day Internationals (ODIs), and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) during their tour of Australia, which is expected to take place in September-October.The BCCI has also announced that the Indian women’s cricket team will play a Test match against England during their tour of England in June-July. This will be the first time that the Indian women’s cricket team will play a Test match against England in seven years.
    The Indian women’s cricket team has been performing well in recent years, having reached the final of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020. The BCCI’s decision to schedule more Test matches for the team is seen as a positive step towards the growth of women’s cricket in India.
    The Indian women’s cricket team is currently ranked fourth in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings and fifth in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings.
