On Tuesday, hospitals all throughout the country conducted practise drills to assess their preparedness for Covid management.
    Observing the exercise at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya remarked, Clinical readiness at hospitals is crucial. Both public and private hospitals are doing practise drills right now. The drills in each state are being reviewed by the state’s health minister said he.Incovacc will be offered as a mix-and-match, or heterologous, booster dosage, and has been uploaded to the vaccine management website CoWIN. Incovacc will be available to those who have had their first two doses of Covaxin or Covishield.We have achieved the goals we set for ourselves. We have developed two Covid vaccines from two different platforms with two different delivery systems. The vectored intranasal delivery platform gives us the capability for rapid product development, scale-up, easy and painless immunization during public health emergencies and pandemics, Bharat Biotech’s Krishna Ella said in a statement.

The immunisation programme, which began in January 2021, has administered almost 220 crore doses of vaccine.
