It was a moment of delight for the Indian esports contingent and the esports fans across India, as it was the first time in history when the Indian esports contingent was invited to the felicitation ceremony along with mainstream gold medalists. After getting felicitated by the IOA, the national DOTA 2 team of the Commonwealth Games 22, expressed their delight, saying u201cTo have the opportunity to be here with the other medalists from various sports and get awarded by the IOA for a medal in Esports is a very special achievement.The Indian contingent won a bronze medal in DOTA 2. Captained by Moin Ejaz, the team included, Ketan Goyal, Abhishek Yadav, Shubham Goli, & Vishal Vernekar. The team members were also presented with and appreciation memento for their exceptional performance.
