Warner and his deputy, Axar Patel, have carried the team’s batting attack when everyone else has failed miserably. This season, Axar’s cameos have been the only bright spot for Delhi.
Warner is second on the list of leading run scorers, but his strike rate of 114.83 is concerning. He has struggled to score runs at a rapid pace, and DC’s loss of wickets has only made the Australian’s task more difficult.
Prithvi Shaw’s technical issues against high-quality pace attacks have surfaced, which will take time to resolve. Manish Pandey, who took over for Sarfaraz Khan, has also failed to make an impact. Yash Dhull, who made his debut against MI, lasted only four balls.
Due to the team’s lack of bench strength in terms of Indian talent, the coaching staff now has only Ripal Patel to fall back on. DC, on the other hand, could replace Rovman Powel with Phil Salt.
The hard-hitting English batter is known for his aggressive innings at the start and could keep the run-rate under control while Warner anchors. Although Anrich Nortje and Mustafizur Rahman did well against MI in a losing cause, Delhi’s pacers have been thoroughly beaten.
However, more will be expected of them at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, which has a fantastic track. Axar and Kuldeep Yadav, both spinners, have yet to produce match-winning performances.
RCB, on the other hand, will be looking to get back on track. After a promising start, RCB faltered and suffered back-to-back defeats.
source: Only RCBVirat Kohli and Faf du Plessis have both contributed with the bat and will be hoping for another strong performance on Saturday. Glenn Maxwell’s return to action is also encouraging for the hosts.
Mohammed Siraj has been outstanding with the new ball, but RCB’s death bowling woes continue, with their bowlers leaking runs at an alarmingly high rate. Harshal Patel has appeared a jaded version of himself, and RCB would like to see others step up.
Wanindu Hasaranga, a star spinner, has joined the squad and is expected to walk right into the playing XI, strengthening the bowling department.
