According to sources, she was called by a Delhi court on September 26 and received a second summons from the Delhi Police, both of which are related to her involvement in the current case. Jacqueline was listed as one of the suspects in the case earlier this month in a new charge sheet issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after investigating the money trail in the Rs. 200 crore extortion case.

Following this filing, Jacqueline filed an appeal with the PMLA Appellate Authority, alleging that while she was identified as an accused in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar Rs. 200 crore extortion case, other celebrities such as Nora Fatehi were included as witnesses in the chargesheet. She also claimed that, like the other celebrities, she was duped by the primary accused in the case, Sukesh.
For the uninitiated, Jacqueline Fernandez was identified as an accused in the allegations after a charge sheet was filed after the ED obtained papers stating that the actress got gifts and assets worth Rs. 7 crores from Sukesh Chandra and his accomplice.
