The GCC policy also focuses on fostering innovation and research by promoting collaboration between industries, academic institutions, and government bodies. It places significant emphasis on upskilling the local workforce, particularly in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and cybersecurity, aligning talent with the specific needs of GCCs.
To further support the initiative, the state government plans to develop dedicated infrastructure and provide necessary support systems for these centers. This is expected to attract investment across multiple sectors, including IT, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing, while enhancing the state’s competitiveness on a global scale.
Overall, Karnataka’s GCC policy aims to drive economic growth, create high-quality jobs, and position the state as a preferred destination for knowledge-based industries, reinforcing its global reputation as a leader in technology and innovation.
