Tendulkar scored 20 of 49 ODI centuries for India while Kohli scored his 21st ODI score over 100 in Ton against Sri Lanka.
Thanks to Kohli in his Century, India achieved a huge total of 390/5 in the 50 overs allotted. As Kohli broke the record, fans flooded Twitter with posts celebrating his modern-day greatness.
Kohli made his double century in 2023 with his three games. It’s the year of the World Cup, so it looks like the 34-year-old is on a mission to get his hands on some silverware.

Kohli has been left out of his T20I squad and it appears that he and his ODI captain Rohit Sharma are not in the selectors’ plans. However, given the kind of Kohli he’s showing and the range he shoots, it’s safe to admit he’ll be back soon, even in the shortest format in the game.
If India can win the Worlds His Cup, which is due to be held in India later this year, Kohli will become the only Indian cricketer to win his ODI Worlds His Cup twice.
