    The team will be led by Hardik Pandya in the T20I series against New Zealand, while Rohit Sharma will be in charge of the ODIs against the Blackcaps and the four Test matches against Australia. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan were given their first Test calls ups, and Prithvi Shaw was recalled to the team for the New Zealand T20Is after a strong domestic circuit run with the bat.
    The BCCI also said that KL Rahul and Axar Patel will not play in the New Zealand series because they have family obligations, and Ravindra Jadeja, who is recovering from knee surgery, will be in the Test team if he is fit.
    The BCCI stated in a statement, India’s squads for the upcoming Mastercard New Zealand Tour of India that comprises three ODIs and as many T20Is have been selected by the All-India Senior Selection Committee.
    Additionally, Jasprit Bumrah won’t play in the first two Tests. Beginning on February 9, the first Test will be held in Nagpur.
