The US needs to explain the ‘law enforcement and diplomatic process’ it used to neutralize Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan. In Hollywood films like Steven Spielberg’s Munich (2005), which was about the Israeli Mossad’s Operation Wrath of God against the perpetrators of the murder at the 1972 Olympics, the exaltation of targeted executions and surgical attacks is no less troubling.
