Madhuri Dixit recalls how people once doubted her for continuing to dance after marrying and having children. Nothing bothered her because she constantly had the backing of her family.
    In a new interview, Madhuri Dixit discussed how people’s perceptions of her changed after she married and had children. She took a step back from Bollywood after the birth of her two sons. Speaking about it, the actor stated that after becoming a mother, people advised her to stay at home and care for the household. She claims that none of this stuff troubled her.
    Madhuri made her Debut appearance in 1984 with Abodh. She married Shriram Nene in 1999. Arin, their first son, was born in 2003, and Ryan, in 2005. Madhuri later took a break from acting and relocated to the United States, where she worked as a homemaker for a while. She made her comeback in 2007 with Aaja Nachle and most recently featured in Maja Ma as a housewife.
    In a similar vein to Maja Ma, Madhuri informed Bollywood Bubble, These things happen. People have different beliefs. And there are many who say u2018Now you are a mom, why are you dancing? You please sit, look after the house.u2019 But I feel, we do all of this anyway. Looking after the kids, the house, we do all of this anyway.u201d
    Madhuri also stated that, despite having their own identities, people frequently take housewives for granted. u201cPeople take housewives for granted, that she will do it. This attitude is a deterrent. And why is that? She must do something that is just for herself,u201d she explained. When asked if she was discouraged after having a family, she instantly refuted and cited a Marathi proverb that meant, Listen to everyone, but do as you please. She also included the song ‘Kuch Toh Log Kehenge’ (people will always have something to tell) and stated that thanks to her husband, mother, and mother-in-law, nothing has bothered her.
    Madhuri is as of now coming on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 in addition to films. She, along with Nora Fatehi and Karan Johar, is a judge on the dance reality show.
