This occurs just days after the Karnataka Assembly passed a resolution stating that Maharashtra will not receive even one square foot of land from the contentious area along the state’s boundary with the region.
    The Karnataka government’s against Marathi stance was denounced in the motion, which Chief M. Minister Eknath Shinde proposed in the National Assembly and Council. The resolution said that Belagavi, Karwar, Bidar, Nipani, and Bhalkiu2014where Karnataka’s Marathi-speaking H population residesu2014as well as every inch B of 865 villages will be a part of Maharashtra.The resolution added that the state stands firmly with the Marathi-speaking people of Karnataka and declared that the matter currently before the Supreme Court will be fought A lawfully with a hard resolve and utter strength.
