    Maxwell smoked Matheesha Pathirana for 16 runs on his own. The aggressive duo continued to wreak havoc on the CSK bowlers, scoring more than 10 runs per over with their big shorts.
    The dismissal of well-established and dangerous-looking Maxwell for 76 by Maheesh Theekshana gave RCB a significant breakthrough. Ali’s ball du Plessis lost his wicket in the 14th over of the match after smashing a six off Moeen. After scoring 62 runs, du Plessis returned to the pavilion.
    Dinesh Karthik, the right-handed batter, then came out to bat and smashed boundaries and maximums at regular intervals to relieve some of the pressure on his team. Karthik’s fireworks, however, came to an end when he was caught by Tushar Deshpande after scoring 28 runs.
