Mohan Lal Badoli, the newly appointed Haryana BJP president, is a seasoned politician with a long-standing association with the party. Born in 1963 in Badoli village, Sonipat, he began his political journey in 1989 by joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He later transitioned to the BJP, where he has held various key positions over the years.

    Badoli first gained significant political traction when he was elected to the Haryana Legislative Assembly from the Rai constituency in 2019, making him the first BJP candidate to win from this seat. Prior to this, he served as the Zila Adhyaksh of BJP Sonipat and held the role of Pradesh Mahamantri, or state general secretary, in the party’s Haryana unit.

    In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Badoli contested from the Sonipat constituency but narrowly lost. Despite the loss, his leadership and organizational skills were recognized, leading to his recent appointment as the Haryana BJP president. Known for his strong grassroots connections and commitment to the party, Badoli is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the BJP’s position in Haryana​
