On Tuesday morning, Safdarjung in Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 3.8 degrees Celsius. IMD predicts that while the maximum temperature will be 19 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature will be 4 degrees. According to news agency ANI, several flights, including those from Delhi to Kathmandu, Delhi to Jaipur, Delhi to Shimla, Delhi to Dehradun, and Delhi to Chandigarh-Kullu, have been delayed owing to fog and cold in the nation’s capital.
The Northern Railway zone is experiencing 36 late trains as a result of the fog. The IMD stated on Saturday that minimum temperatures are highly likely to climb by 2-4 degree Celsius over Northwest India within 24 hours due to the approaching new Western Disturbance from January 10 night.
