The world cricket fans know that the star batter is going through a rough phase, making him unable to score a century internationally since 2019. Many experts and former cricket players worldwide have commented in the past expecting Kohli’s comeback while the former Pakistani spinner, Danish Kaneria, mocks him for making some wrong decisions.
The main issue with Virat Kohli is that he is having trouble with his form, and it’s been around three years now. He lost his limited overs captaincy following the 2021 T20 World Cup, and the board’s difficulties and statements soon surfaced in the media. If he wants to play for a few more years, I believe he needs to concentrate more on cricket and to improve his batting, in an interview with India Today, Kaneria disclosed.
Kohli took a wrong decision by skipping international games. The five T20I matches against the West Indies were vital for him, and if necessary, he should have missed some IPL matches to play international cricket because that experience could have helped him regain his form. I’m hoping he’ll come out and put on a huge show with big runs on a big day, Kaneria said.
Being in bad form, every Indian fan is expecting for Kohli’s grand return in the upcoming Asia Cup, which would work as a base for him for the upcoming T20 world cup in November.
