Let’s look at the facts.Apparently, the two girls were planning on meeting their favourite K-pop musical sensation, BTS, and trying to reach South Korea.The girls were aged 13 and 14. The older girl went to the younger girl’s house, and they were nowhere to be seen after a while. Their parents filed a missing persons complaint with the police and were worried about their children being in danger. Upon investigation, the police came to understand that the girls had fled their homes to go to South Korea to meet BTS. They had also asked another friend, who was supposed to join them. Their Google search history revealed train schedules and thorough research on South Korea. The girls were found at Lahore station in miserable conditions and are now safe and in police custody in Lahore, 1200 km away from their homes. The senior superintendent of Karachi said that they had coordinated with the Lahore police and were bringing these teenage girls back home.They also urged parents to keep track of their children’s online activities.
