PKL Season 9 seems to be a page-turner for Kabaddi fans across India when Tamil Thalaivas picked the celebrated raider Pawan Sehrawat for 2.26 Cr in PKL S9 auction in Mumbai. The highest in PKL history! Sehrawat overtook raider Vikash Khandola as the most expensive purchase. The 26-year-old Sehrawat, often nicknamed u2018Hi-Flyeru2019, made his Pro Kabbadi debut in 2016 (PKL S3) with the Bulls. Although having an underwhelming stint with Gujarat Giants in Season 5, this purchase comes as a refresher for the aggressive raider.At one point, Pawan has been the star performer of the Bullsu2019 victory in PKL S6 in 2018 where he scored 282 points across 24 matches, the most by any player of that season. Sehrawat also led the team to a glorious 38-33 points victory against Gujrat where he scored 22 points from the front. Another enticing performance of Sehrawat was seen in 2021 when Pawan led the Bulls to the semi-finals by garnering 304 points across 24 matches. He also displayed great vigor when he amassed 39 points to stage a dominant win against Haryana Steelers in 2019, S7.Mr. Sehrawat also shined bright in 2019, Asian Games where he was a part of the Indian Kabbadi Team.
