PM Modi was addressing the rally at swami Vivekananda ground in Agartala and made announcement of infrastructure projects. 
    There he said that Tripura is getting the fruit of HIRA model, this model includes the higways, internet ways, railways and airways.
    As the full form of HIRA model suggest the PM Modi is keen to make Tripura a logistic hub, same was also said by him in his speech. He said Tripura is going to be the logistic hub of northeastern state. The Agartala-Akhaura (Bangladesh) railway line is going to open new trade routes. Northeast India is developing connectivity and relations with other countries, connecting India, Myanmar and Thailand through road infrastructure. The Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport (Agartala) has also got an international terminal and international connectivity have become easier now. This way, Tripura is becoming a trade gateway of the region. the PM said.Under Pradhan Mantri gram sadak yojana he launched 112 road projects and district highways of about 532 km also 32 road projects were announced with a cumulative length of about 232km. The expenses would be covered with the announced package of 10000 crores. The package was alloted for road connectivity only. He also launched the ‘Griha Pravesh’ programme in Agartala, benefitting 1,51,019 families under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural) and 54,526 households under PMAY for urban areas.What do you think, will Hira model of Modi work in Tripura state?
