So one could say that it may be because state may be ruled by two different parties, right? It is also not right as recent clashes between Maharashtra and Karnataka states have BJP ally or BJP itself ruling the state.
The recent clashes occur at Belagavi district and some other villages as well which is now in Karnataka but there are Marathi speaking people in these districts as well. And hence the dispute is between the state from long period of time. This dispute is now escalated.On this issue Sanjay Raut said that The struggle of the Marathi-speaking population in Belagavi and nearby areas who were included in Karnataka against their wishes during the reorganisation of states, cannot be crushed cruelly, .PM Modi mediates in the Russia-Ukraine war, but turns a blind eye to the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute.
