Take advantage of the opportunity! Nadal posted a photo of Djokovic on Instagram. Djokovic’s match with Nadal’s record 22 Grand Slam titles reignited the debate over who is the greatest men’s tennis player of all time.
For some, the Serb’s record-tying 10th Australian Open title was the final nail in the coffin. Certainly, his defeated opponent on Rod Laver Arena believes so.
He’s the greatest to ever hold a tennis racquet, without a doubt, Stefanos Tsitsipas said after losing 6-3, 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (7/5). Djokovic, who returned to world number one with a dominant victory in Sunday’s final, appears destined to win more Slams.
He is a year younger than his great rival Nadal at 35, and with the exception of hamstring trouble early in Melbourne, he appears to be in excellent physical shape.
In contrast, Nadal’s battered body broke down again at the Australian Open, and he limped out in the second round, ending his title defense and leaving the Spaniard in pain with a hip injury.

Many consider Federer to be the people’s champion because of the graceful way he played, but Djokovic appears poised to break the record for the most men’s major titles.
