The Prime Minister characterised the dedication of the Ram Lalla idol as a remarkable and historic occasion that will elevate India’s development trajectory and enhance its legacy and culture. 

    The nation as a whole sincerely hopes that this historic event would usher in a new age of peace and harmony among the people. Gandhi envisioned an India in which injustice, intolerance, and inequality would not exist. In his vision of Ram Rajya, the prince and the poor enjoyed equal rights, and even the lowest citizen “could be sure of swift justice without an elaborate and costly procedure,” not as the “Hindu Raj,” but as the kingdom of God on earth.

    A country that wants to become the third-largest economy in the world by the end of this decade and sees itself as a worldwide leader, or Vishwaguru, must have the prosperous coexistence of many cultures. India’s overall progress shouldn’t be impeded by prejudice and intolerance.
