Ranbir Kapoor has chosen to take time to be with his newborn baby. His wife, Alia Bhatt, will resume work as quickly as she is able to following the conception, while Ranbir will become a stay-at-home parent.
It was Ranbir’s decision to take a paternity break, a good friend of the pair reveals. He is extremely excited to eventually become a father. He proposed that Alia resumes her work while he cared for the baby.

Ranbir, on the other side, is nearing the end of his project on Sandeep Venga’s Animal. He hasn’t accepted any other projects yet and won’t until after his paternity leave.
