Reliance launched the food brand Independence to enter the food sector in the beverages, staples, processed food, and daily essentials segments.
Reliance registered Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. (RCPL) under Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd. (RRVL).u00a0RRVL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industry Ltd. (RIL).The company made a foray into the staples industry last week by launching the brand Independence.This launch is currently only for Gujarat, on a pilot testing basis. And soon it will be launched throughout the entire country.
The products are set to be marketed at affordable prices.
