The accused has been identified as Udhal, a resident of the Bahraich area of Uttar Pradesh.Singh reported the crime and stated that 215 boxes of Close-up and Dabur-Red toothpaste tubes, together with one cell phone, had been taken from his warehouse. Singh also made this claim in a police report to Lahori Gate.Udai Kumar, also known as Santosh, a worker in his warehouse, was thought to be the culprit.

Later, he hired two rickshaws, loaded them with toothpaste boxes, and took a bus to Bahraich, his hometown.The defendant was taken into custody.
