Rashid, who took one wicket in each of the three matches while giving 62 runs off his 12 overs, has surpassed Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga to grab the top spot among bowlers.
    Rashid was number one for the first time in his career in February 2018, and he was number one again in November of last year.
    Mujeeb Ur Rehman, who took two wickets in each of the first and third matches, is another Afghanistan spinner who has risen from 10th to eighth place, while fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi’s five wickets in the series have propelled him to a career-high third place.
    Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa has risen three places to a career-high sixth spot in the ODI rankings following his match-winning performance of four for 45 against India in Chennai.
