It’s disgusting that she said her critics are exaggerating the small issue. We expect a responsible approach, especially from someone who claims to be an advocate for women’s rights. When a women’s police team visited the violent village, the government claimed that not a single lady reported experiencing sexual harassment, even after being assured of protection.
There have been complaints filed about locals being coerced into attending TMC gatherings. A lady who testified before a judicial magistrate has been charged with gangrape. The National Commission for Scheduled Castes has suggested imposing President’s rule in the state, while the National Commission for Women has drawn attention to pervasive fear and institutionalised abuse.

It is hardly encouraging to think that the state government would guarantee a thorough investigation when the observations are being written off as nothing more than an extension of the saffron agenda. The condition of female convicts must also be acknowledged by the CM. The issue of numerous prisoners becoming pregnant has been brought up by an amicus curiae in addition to jail overcrowding. There is a request to prohibit male employees of correctional facilities from entering the areas designated for women.
