The Indians didn’t get off to a good start, losing the first game 15-21. The pair did come back in the middle of the game, cutting the deficit to one point as they trailed 15-16.
The Danish pair, on the other hand, won six straight points to easily win the first game. The Indian duo picked up the pace in the second game, quickly building a seven-point lead of 11-4 at the half. By the time parity was restored, they had increased their lead to ten points.
The third game began evenly, but the Indians were fantastic at the net, taking an 11-7 lead and then maintaining a seven-point lead until the end of the match to advance to the last four.
After a disappointing early round exit at the All England Championships, the pair will be pleased with a tournament victory.
